Throughout the years man has dreamt of flying like a bird.

Hang Gliding has made this old dream come true.

Hang Gliding Tandem Flight from Pedra Bonita Ramp, located at Tijuca Forest National Park, at a height of 1700 feet (520 meters) and landing on São Conrado "Pepino" Beach.

Professional instructors certified by the Brazilian Hang Gliding Association.

Over 25 years of hang gliding experience and over 20 years of tandem flight experience!!!

Flights last from 8 to 25 minutes depending on the strengh of the wind and on the weight of the passenger.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!!

Weight limit is 220 pounds (100Kg) in good conditions of wind.

The whole trip takes approximately from 3 to 4 hours from and back to the hotel.

Once at the take-off ramp we are fitted with a harness that will be securely attached to the hang glider, we have a briefing and a practice run, then, in few minutes, we are ready for the take-off.

In normal weather conditions it is not cold and we can wear light clothes, such as t-shirts, shorts or pants and tennis shoes or sandals that strap on.

We can fly from sunrise to sunset time, but best time for good wind uses to be between 9am and 2pm.

Cloudy days can be even better than very sunny, clear and hot days. Sometimes when the day is not good for the beach it can be the best day for hang gliding.

Best flight conditions use to happen right after cold fronts when it is still cloudy or partially cloudy.

We take a beautiful and scenic drive through Tijuca Forest National Park to reach our take-off point.
